What injectable is right for me?

Injections of the following can make such a difference! They soften the "lines", "wrinkles", and "creases" that occur as we age. A philosophy Dr. Sheldon practices by is "less is more"! A stark, flat, expressionless face is not attractive, but a softened, more awake and refreshed face is beautiful!

Botox: Corrects the lines around the eyes, better known as crow’s feet, creases in between the brows as well as the brow line, and the thinner lines on the forehead. A series of injections with a very small needle corrects these areas. Within two weeks a gradual softening of these lines occurs and leaves you with a fresher more clean look! Results usually continue for about three months.

Dysport: Corrects the lines around the eyes, better known as crow's feet, creases in between the brows as well as the brow line, and the thinner lines on the forehead. Most results are seen in 24-48 hours and lasts 12 weeks.

Restylane: This substance corrects thin lips, lines that appear above and below the lips, and the laugh lines. This material is injected into the skin and immediate results appear. The jowl appears more taught, laugh lines soften, and lips are much smoother. This procedure is usually repeated in approximately six months. There may be some mild bruising and/or swelling after these injections.

Perlane: Used to fill very thin lips, for very deep laugh lines (area surrounding each side of the mouth and nose ie.nasolabial folds), and the puppeteer lines (jowls), that would normally take 2-3 vials of restylane. Patients have been thrilled with this new injectable. There may be some mild bruising and/or swelling after these injections.
